1. About us
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of vtstr.com and to any order you place with vtstr ("vtstr", "we", "us"). We sell sturgeon caviar to customers in the United Kingdom.
You can contact us at support@vtstr.com. For large or corporate orders write to business@vtstr.com.
2. Using the website
You may browse the website freely. You agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to access areas you are not authorised to use, or copy content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
3. Your account
You can create an account with your email address and a password. Keep your login details confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for the information you give us and for keeping it accurate.
We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.
4. Orders
When you submit an order request, we will review it and confirm it by email. A binding contract between you and vtstr is formed only when we send that confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or we cannot deliver to your address, and will tell you if so.
Please check your order carefully before submitting it. If you spot a mistake, contact us as soon as possible.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (€). Any delivery charges and applicable taxes are confirmed to you before you pay. Payment is arranged with you after we confirm your order, using the payment method we offer at that time.
We take care to display prices accurately. If we discover an obvious pricing error we will tell you and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
6. Delivery
Delivery is described in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery dates are estimates.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Caviar is a perishable product, so the statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days does not apply to it. This does not affect your legal rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described. Full details are in our Shipping & Returns policy.
8. Product information
We describe each variety as accurately as we can. Taste notes and appearance are a guide only and natural products vary from batch to batch. Caviar is a fish product; if you have allergies or dietary requirements, please check with us before ordering.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10. Intellectual property
The vtstr name, logo, design, text and images on this website belong to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce them without our written permission.
11. Privacy
How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
